My Financial New Year Is Starting Out Abysmally

So far, my financial New Year has been a bust. In the past, I have overdrawn on my checking account quite a bit and been hit hard with NSF fees. What is worse that overdrawing? Not realizing that you accidentally turn your overdraft protection off and not realizing it. So the first week of January, a series of checks were bounced like rapid gunfire. Ouch. I got the protection turned on, much to my chagrin. I wish I would never bounce another check. And that is my goal. But I guess I would rather that the charges go through, even with an NSF, than have to deal with the fallout when they don't. Focus, take a deep breath. Schedule, budget, don't overspend. Be frugal. Keep this in my mind.
