I Must Be Prescient

When I wrote the previous post about property management, little did I know that today I would be in need of that knowledge. I live in a condo building and am unfortunate enough to be the president of the association. (Many of you know what I mean.) Well, our property management company is going out of business and has only given us one week notice! Worse than that, they only gave their employees one week notice. Nice group. Anyway, I have had a nervous day, researching and calling various property management companies. There is a long list of them, but many of the companies only manage apartment buildings, not condos. hmmm. I was worried that maybe I didn't forsee problems with the company somehow, but we are one of many properties affected, so I don't think I could have forseen that. I may be prescient but not that prescient.
